My house has been smelling absolutely fabulous for the past week!! Trista from LoseTheFlame.com sent me a Scentsy Plugin Warmer to try out I am simply loving it!!

I have small children & a dog so I’m always weary to put smelly candles out. If I do (on VERY special occasions), I’m always double checking to make sure they’re out of any ones reach and on a surface that isn’t going to get knocked over! Scentsy Candles solve most of these issues.

Scentsy Candles are leadless, wickless, flameless & smokeless candles. Scentsy warmers use a 15-25 watt light bulb (depending upon what size warmer you have) to melt bars of wax. The wax is placed above the bulb in a warmer and although the wax does get really warm (only enough to melt), it’s not hot enough that you would burn yourself, like you would with the flame on a candle. I still wouldn’t put the warmer in an area with small children or animals running around and/or where they could stick there hand in it. If knocked over, the melted wax can still spill over and make a mess.

Trista sent me 3 different Scenty Bars (scented wax) and I love all of them. I got Sweet Pea & Vanilla, Black Raspberry Vanilla & Mineral Springs. If I had to choose I would say that, of the three, the Sweet Pea & Vanilla is my favorite! What I like most about the scenty bars is that you can change the scents whenever you want! All you have to do is melt the current scent that is in there and just pour it out (be careful of spilling). The best thing is that you can pour the unused portion of the wax back into the container and save it for later!! You definitely can’t do that with a candle!!

Another thing that I don’t like about candles in the glass jars is that they eventually get the soot rings on the jar making it look not very attractive. You don’t have to worry about this with the Scentsy Candles! The worst that could happen is that you spill a little wax on the side which you can simply wipe off with a wet cloth. Not smoke/soot to worry about inhaling or getting all over your walls and/or ceiling.
